Development Bank of American Samoa would like to inform the public that out of 244 applications submitted to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines competitive grant for Affordable Housing Program, DBAS was among the 55 recipients selected to receive a grant award. This $700,000 award is 100% grant funding to help improve and rehabilitate homes for the special needs community such as the elderly, disability, and veterans. The winning project is called DBAS MALU I FALE which stands for Modernize Affordable Living spaces through home Upgrade & Improvement For American Samoa Low-income & Elderly community.
